Spiritual Formation
Bill was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 14, 1959. He attended Lubbock Christian University and Texas Tech, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Speech Communications, with a certification in secondary education. He taught Junior High at Christian Heritage Schools in San Antonio, Texas from 1983 - 1985.
Bill met his wife Betty in San Antonio and they married in 1984. In 1985, Bill was hired as the youth minister at MacArthur Park Church of Christ in San Antonio where he worked for seven years. Bill and Betty moved to Lubbock in 1991 where they attended the Sunset International Bible Institute. They graduated from Sunset in 1993 and enrolled in the school of missions where they graduated in 1994. In 1994, Bill and Betty went with a church planting team to San Diego, California where they planted three churches in seven years. In 2001, Bill was asked to return to Sunset International Bible Institute and serve as an instructor and Assistant Dean of Missions. In 2006, Bill was hired by Sunset congregation to serve as the Spiritual Formation Minister. Bill also serves as a part of our preaching team.
Bill and Betty have three children, Joshua, Matthew and Katie. Two wonderful daughter-in-laws, Holly Tracy and Mariah Tracy and two grandkids, Audrey and Arlo.
