English is a second language for more than 13,000 people in Lubbock. FriendSpeak is designed to reach out to our international neighbors and friends with the gospel in an easy, non-threatening way.
The goal of this ministry is to take advantage of the growing interest in learning English by providing conversational English sessions using texts from the New Testament. We believe there are many people who will want to enroll, and we need your help! As we help people with their language skills, God's Word can touch their hearts with His love.
