As a church family, we are united in our beliefs, which provide us with our identity.
We Believe
• There is only one true and living God
(1 Corinthians 8:6).
• The Bible is the inspired word of God and prepares us for His service (2 Timothy 3:16-17), therefore the Bible is the supreme authority for all matters of faith and practice (l Thessalonians 2:12).
• Jesus Christ is the Son of God (Matthew 3-.16-17), the one and only sacrifice for our sins and he was raised from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:1-8).
• Every person has worth as a creation of God, but we all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
(Romans 3:21-24).
• The forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to everyone who trusts in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (John 3:16).
• Those willing to follow and obey Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith and be baptized into Him for the forgiveness of sins (Romans 10:9; Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16).
• Christians enjoy the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who provides strength in the inner person and who intercedes for us in prayer
(Acts 2:38; Ephesians 3:16; Romans 8:26-27).
• Each Christian is on a growth journey, striving to be conformed to the image of Christ, through prayer, Bible study, fellowship and service to others (John 15:1-8; 1 Peter 2:2; Acts 2:42-47; Matthew 25: 34-40).
• The church is the Body of Christ on earth and exists to save the lost and edify the saved (Ephesians 4:1-16).
• Jesus Christ will return to take God's children to be with him forever (John 14:3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).
