SHEPHERD
Bob was born in Mobile, Alabama on November 11, 1941, but grew up in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Abilene Christian College with a degree in Business Administration.
Bob met his wife, Jan, at the Montana Street congregation in El Paso. They married August 28, 1964. They have three sons - Cliff (Karen), Kevin (Jenny) and Steve (Kathy), 7 grandchildren (2 who are married), and one great-granddaughter.
Bob and Jan have been members at Sunset since 1977. He has served as a Sunset elder for 30 years and previously served as a deacon for 7 years and as Sunset International Bible Institute board chair for 25 years.
Bob and Jan are both retired: he was a business owner and she was a kindergarten teacher.
One of Bob’s favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
His hobbies include golf. His favorite foods are Mexican and Italian.
