Kevin was born January 26, 1959 in Lubbock, TX. He attended Lubbock Christian Schools graduating in 1977 and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Texas Tech University in 1982. Sharon attended Lubbock Christian College, graduating in 1979 with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and earned a Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Texas Tech University in 1983.

He married Sharon (Lile) on July 19, 1980 in Wichita Falls, TX. Kevin worked for the City of Lubbock after graduating from Texas Tech and was later employed by State Farm Insurance as an adjuster where he worked for 32 years, retiring in 2017. Sharon has a career in education and has served the Lubbock Independent School District for more than 37 years. Kevin and Sharon enjoy traveling and being with family and friends. They have two sons, Sean and Eric who also live in Lubbock. One son, Sean, is married and has two children. Their grandchildren are a precious gift from God and they love to spoil them whenever possible.

Sharon and Kevin have been members at Sunset since 1993 serving in the youth program and as class leaders. Kevin also was a member of the Adult Curriculum Committee before being appointed an elder in October 2015. They love Sunset and serving in the Lord’s Kingdom at this place.

One of Kevin’s favorite scriptures is Acts 2:42. He loves to snow ski, ride mountain bikes, fly-fishing and loves just being outdoors.
