TREY was born in Wheeler Texas. Most of his childhood was spent in Amarillo where he graduated from Tascosa High School. He graduated from Sunset International Bible Institute in 1989, and completed his bachelors, masters and doctorate of ministry from Andersonville Theological Institute in 1992, 1994 and 1995.
 
Trey met his wife Lea in their church youth group where they attended church as teenagers. They were high school sweethearts and married after graduating from high school. 
 
Trey & Lea have four grown sons who all who attend here at Sunset. Trey has served as a minister in Tulia, Texas for 10 years and Childress, Texas for 21 years. Trey and Lea are very involved in marriage ministry doing workshops all over the US. They have written 3 books together. Trey loves reading daily from the book of Proverbs.  His favorite food is Chinese food, and his favorite sport is baseball. Go Texas Rangers
