SHEPHERD
Vic was born September 29, 1959 in Portales, New Mexico. He came to
Lubbock Christian University in the fall of 1979 where he met his wife Carol (Ribble) Self. They were married August 22, 1981.
Vic is an assistant coach at LCU for the women’s basketball team. He taught and coached for 28 years at Monterey High School. His wife, Carol is a practicing CPA here in Lubbock. They have a son, Ryan went to ACU for his undergraduate degree and graduated with a Masters degree from the H.W. Bush School of Government at Texas A & M. Ryan grew up at Sunset and now works for TXDOT and lives in Austin, Texas.
Vic and Carol have been members at Sunset for 42 years. His favorite activity is running and his favorite food is Mexican food. Vic was appointed elder October 2015.
